Obituary

Gloria Kay Schreiber, formerly Gloria Kay Northcutt, but everyone she met or knew called her Patsy. Patsy passed away on July 19 th , 2022, surrounded by loved ones, going into the open and loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Patsy is survived by her sister Debbie Lou Furnish and husband Michael Furnish and family, by her sister Rita Fae Evans and husband Ron Evans and family, by sister-in-law Patricia Ann Thigpen Northcutt and family, by her son Keith Allen Schreiber and daughter Laura Catherine Schreiber; by her grandson Kirk Allen Schreiber his wife Joycelyn Schreiber and two great grandchildren Anna Lucia Azul Schreiber and Lukas Benjamin Blue Schreiber. She is preceded in death by her parents William Northcutt and Nancy Northcutt, by her husband Milton Dennis Schreiber brothers Carol Northcutt and Kernie Northcutt, sister-in-law Betty Green Northcutt, and grandson Joseph Benjamin Schreiber.

Patsy was born December 7 th , 1943, in Kilgore Texas to William and Nancy Northcutt. Patsy grew up on a farm with family all around her. She grew up doing hard work every day after school made excellent grades in school, and she began learning piano at the age of 3. Patsy was one of the hardest working people that anyone could know. Pasty graduated from high school in Temple Texas, and then pursued further education at Texas Woman's University in music and education. Patsy made numerous lifelong friends in college, and they called themselves the 1965 Tessies. Patsy worked in Dallas for a number of years as a music teacher and band director then later worked for Texas Woman's University. She met and married Milton Dennis Schreiber and moved to Denton, Texas where they bought a house and stayed there until they both passed. Pasty and Dennis had two children who they loved and raised, and a grandson who they loved, and help raised. Patsy had a strong part in church, she played piano, organ, or led music. Patsy was always a good Christian woman and anyone she met knew she was. She always helped those in need and gave willingly to those who needed it. Patsy was a great listener, she had a wealth of wisdom and knowledge, and always tried to make others feel loved.

A celebration of her life will be held at Shady Shores Baptist Church address 401 W Shady Shores Rd, Shady Shores, TX 76208 at 2 PM Saturday, July 30, 2022. Please bring your favorite picture of her to place at the altar so everyone can see her at a different time in her life and share an experience she has had.

The visitation will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 AM Monday, July 25, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton.
