Glenn Harding Fuller, age 87, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2008, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on May 10, 1921 in Denton County to Elmer and Julia Mae (Thomas) Fuller. He graduated from Denton High School and attended North Texas State College (now UNT). He went to Pearl Harbor after the Japanese attack in December, 1941 to help in reconstruction.
Glenn married Golda Faye Graham in 1943. He worked for Charles Davis before moving his family to Haltom City in 1952 where he worked for Adams Construction Company for 30-plus years. He was an avid rock, mineral and Indian artifact collector and was a member of the Arlington Gem and Mineral Club where he made belt buckles and other jewelry.
Glenn is survived by his daughter, Margaret Yvonne Fuller of New Mexico, Tina Parson, his companion of many years, and her son Frank of Fort Worth. He is also survived by one brother Radford and wife Jackie Fuller of Aubrey, one sister Dorothy Matthews of Illinois and sister-in-law Ruby Fuller of Denton. He is also survived by nephews Brad Fuller, Justin Fuller, Larry Fuller, Rick Fuller and Bruce Kingston; nieces JuLee Moore, Jennifer Friday, Lynn Fuller, Libby Klages, and a number of great nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Faye, an infant daughter Jola Ruth, his parents, brothers Bill and Jim Fuller, two infant sisters and one nephew, Danny Fuller.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Shiloh Cemetery in Corinth, Texas with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 14, 2008 from 7-8:30 pm at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX 76201
