Obituary
Glenda June Taylor, 73, of Denton, TX passed away on May 11, 2011 following a decline in her health. She was born June 7, 1937 in Olney, TX to Horace and Sue (Rhine) Cole. She was married to Wayne Allen Taylor on June 27, 1959 in Lubbock.
She was a loving wife, mom, and nana. Her girls and grandchildren were her passion and the lights of her life.
June is survived by her husband Wayne Allen Taylor of Denton, two daughters, Lisa Anne Greenhill of Houston, and Gina Taylor Cone of Denton, four grandchildren, Taylor Greenhill, Sawyer Greenhill, Kasey Cone, Sophie Cone, and her mother Sue Rhine of Lake Whitney. She was preceded in death by her sister Jodie Harris of Austin.
Wayne and June were married for almost 52 years. They lived in Plainview from 1973 to 1997 and moved to Houston for 9 years before moving to Denton.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, May 16th in the Chapel of Denton Bible Church in Denton with Pastor Wayne Cone officiating the service. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The Taylor Family wishes to express their gratitude for the tender care and assistance that June received from Denton Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and Accolade Hospice.
