Glenda Jean Brisco, 67, of Krum, passed away at her home on September 6, 2014. She was born on November 10, 1946 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Willie Hewell and Dorothy Lou (Johnson) Stanley. She was a graduate of Denton High School. She was married to Tom Hickman Briscoe on February 6, 1973 and he passed away on October 5, 1991. She had worked in the Insurance business and as a Pilot for Transport services.
Mrs. Briscoe is survived by two sons, Danny Wayne Reeves and wife Marilyn of Sanger, William Hewell Reeves and wife Mindy of Ponder, sister Rhonda Athey of Lake Kiowa, and brother Allen Stanley of St. Jo. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St. Denton,, TX from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. followed by a graveside funeral service on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the Plainview Cemetery, west of Krum.
