Gerard "Jerry" Cote, age 57, of Flower Mound, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009, in Denton.

He was born August 11, 1952 in Lewiston, Maine to Paul E. Cote and Fern Jean Cote. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jerry married Ellen Evans on March 21, 1987 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen; daughter, Nicole Cote; son, Paul Cote; sisters, May Cote and Venise Minkowsky and husband, Steve; brother, Norman Cote and partner, David Kulas and nephew, Scott Minkowsky.

Jerry was a pilot, command duty officer and special agent over the span of 20 years for U.S. Customs. At the time of his death he worked for Gleason Research Associates as a criminal investigator.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009, with Rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. A memorial mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2009, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine.
