Gerald Wayne Lynch

Gerald Wayne Lynch passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife Kimberly Lynch and granddaughter Jocelyn on November 1, 2023.

He was born in Denton, Texas on February 7, 1950 to Bobby Ray Lynch and Gloria Yvonne Watkins.

Gerald attended Denton High School and was a proud graduate of the class of 1968.

He worked for BMW in Houston for many years before moving over to Mercedes-Benz; where he became a Master Technician, as well as, Shop Foreman. He retired in 2015 when he and his wife Kimberly moved to Valley View, Texas.

Gerald was an avid golfer and attended many tournaments with Mercedes-Benz and enjoyed playing tournaments with his class of '68.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Lynch; step-father, Harold Watkins; sister, Debbie Bland; sister, Sylvia Bartee; nephew, Justin Welsh and niece, Crystal Bland.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria Watkins; his wife Kimberly of 26 years; daughter, Melissa (Thomas) Lynch; son, Garrett Lynch; step-daughter, Alicia (Greg) Vorpagel and granddaughters, Jocelyn Puente and Kharma Toczko.

A celebration of life will be held at 194 Chisholm Trail, Valley View, Texas on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 to celebrate this wonderful man from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Another celebration of life will be held in Houston at a later date.
