Gerald Wayne Kizziah, 68, of Denton, died Monday April 11, 2011 at Texas Health
Presbyterian Hospital in Plano.
Mr. Kizziah was born on February 14, 1943 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Herman and Elna
(Hyde) Kizziah. He was married to Nancy (Columbus) Neely on August 11, 1990 in Denton. He
was retired from the Denton State School. He attended Memorial Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday April 13, 2011 at the
funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday April 14, 2011 in the
chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Rev Kenny Robison and Rafael Natividad
will officiate the service.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kizziah of Denton; daughters, Serstin Neely of
Austin, Gina House of Homer, GA, Tara Marie Alexander of Lula, GA; sons, Dain Neely of
Elizabethton, TN, Gene Neely of Lebanon, TN, Gerald Wayne Kizziah, Jr. of Lula, GA;
seventeen grandchildren, one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean
Bridges.
