Gerald Davis, age 75, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008, at his home.

He was born July 6, 1933 in Merkel, Texas to Burris Davis and Valley Bond Davis. Gerald was a member of Delta Sigma Pi and worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy Davis; son, Dwayne Davis and wife, Jessica of Athens; four grandchildren, Lance Funkhouser, Alex Fernandez, Duncan Davis and Daxton Davis and a sister, Johnnie Lou Boyd of Abilene. Gerald was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Davis and by a grandson,Dalton Davis.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2008, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.
