George Ivey Hartley Jr., 94, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024. He was surrounded by his family in his home in Argyle.

Mr. Hartley was Born on August 17, 1929 in Arlington, Texas. He was widowed by Jimmie Nell Hartley on May 1, 2019. They married on July 26, 1954 and were members of Chinn's Chapel Methodist Church. George retired from Lewisville ISD. He was a loving spouse, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.

He is survived by sons, J. Dean Hartley and his wife Sandy of Argyle; Joe Hartley and his wife Bonnie of Auburn, WA. His grandchildren, Philip Hartley and family, Ryan Hartley and family, and Allyson (Hartley) Housour and family. He had several great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by son, Bob Miles.
