Obituary
Genevieve Eloise Douglas, 86, of Denton, died Sunday January 10, 2010 at her home in Denton.
Mrs. Douglas was born on June 17, 1923 in Manteno, IL to Ira Alvin and Loretta Amanda (Weidenbach) Versaille. She was married to Edward Omar Douglas, he died in 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday January 12, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Rev. Robert Richardson will officiate the service.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Lee Hale of Sanger; Cheryl Lynn Douglas of Denton; four grandchildren, Kimberly L. Epting, Kurtis A. Quilhot, Kelly A. Smith, Steven E. Cis; six great grandchildren, Dustin M. Epting, Tiffany A. Quilhot, Megan N. Epting, Holden K. Smith, Stetson Walkup, Summer Guess; two great-great grandchildren, Devin M. Quilhot, Madison L. Epting.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2810 N. Locust St., Denton, TX 76209.
