Geneva O. 'GRANNY' Gresham, 89, of Ponder, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Baylor, All Saints, Baylor in Fort Worth. She was born February 6, 1916 in Argyle, to Tom and Mary (Stansell) Dudley. She was married to Lester Howard (Red) Gresham in Denton, on July 23, 1936, he died June 5, 1984. She attended the Ponder United Methodist Church. She had worked as a Salesclerk, for Bealls and Anthony Dept. Stores. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, January 6, 2006 at the Ponder United Methodist Church, with Rev. Bill Bane, officiating, with burial to follow in the Prairie Mound Cemetery at Argyle. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Thursday, January 5, 2006.
Mrs. Gresham Is survived by a daughter, Clara Henderson, of Blue Mound, and a son and his wife, Freddy and P. J. Gresham, of Krum, a sister, Clara Graham of Duncan, OK Four Grandchildren Ten Great Grandchildren Twelve Great Great Grandchildren,and One Great Great Great Grandchild.
