Gary Wayne Shaw, Sr. 75 of Denton, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital. He was born March 23, 1939 in Denton, TX to R. T. Shaw and Fay McKee. He attended Denton Public Schools and was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a Superintendent for Beck Construction Co. of Dallas. Retiring after thirty-five years. He served in both the U S Army and Marine Corps. He was married to Carmen Galvan on May 18, 1962 in Denton.
Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife, Carmen Shaw of Denton, Daughters, Cindy and husband Randy Lane of Valley View, Sandra Amaya of St. Jo, and son Gary W. Shaw, Jr. of Justin, sister Rhonda Norton of Denton, and a brother Butch Shaw of Denton, Eight grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton and a graveside service with burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Park, with Pastor Pam Wiebe, officiating.
