Gale Marlene O'Bryant, 86, of Denton, died Thursday, October 27, 2022 in Lewisville.

Mrs. O'Bryant was born on September 6, 1936 in Little Elm to Charles F. and Azlee (Griffin) Allen. She graduated from Denton High School in 1954 and worked for the University of North Texas as an Administrative Assistant. She was married to Henry V. O'Bryant on March 9, 1984 in Denton; he died on January 5, 2014.

Gale is survived by her daughters, Sherri Bell Adelstein of Denton, Nanell O'Bryant Neal of Seabrook; sons, Scott Bell (Jeannie) of Sun City, AZ, Chuck O'Bryant of Palacios, Randy O'Bryant (Kathy) of Mexia; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bobbye Helen Allen Scarbro; brothers, Billy Allen and Don Mike Allen.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2022 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Visitation will start one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
