Gael Miller, 87, of Denton, Texas passed away on July 11, 2024, due to complications of dementia and Parkinsons.

Gael was born in Anita, Iowa to Thomas and Meta Miller.  Gael enlisted in the Marines and served from 1954 to 1957.  After service he enrolled at the University of Iowa and earned a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1962.  He met Janice Rittenmeyer Miller while attending university and wed in June 1961.

Gael's job took the family across the country living in seven homes before settling in the Dallas area where they resided until their retirement.  Gael and Jan moved to Sun City, Georgetown in 2001 after retiring and became very involved in the Computer Club and neighborhood community.  He loved his Iowa Hawkeyes no matter where he lived.

He is preceded in death by his wife Janice.  He is survived by daughters Kirsten Mackay of Bend, Oregon (John) and Karla Johnson of Denton, Texas (Greg); sister Karen Kitelinger of Edwards, MO (Royce); nieces and nephews.

The family expresses their appreciation for the care received by Village on the Park of Denton (Anthology) and Trio Hospice.  Memorials in Gael Miller's name may be made to Michael J Fox Foundation or Alzheimer's Association.
