Freddie Jane O'Rear Vaughan Burnett, 82 of Denton, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1931 in Ponder, Denton County, tX to Roy Luther and Tennell Alfreda (Wright) Amyx. She was a member of the Towne North Baptist Church. She attended public school and the University of North Texas She was retired from GTE and Verizon after 30 years of service as a service representative. She was married to Billy Joe O'Rear June 16, 1960 in Denton, and he preceded her in death then she married Freddy Wayne Vaughan on October 7, 1977 in Denton, and he died June 8, 1989 then she married Billy Joe Burnett on April 13, 1996 in Denton, and he died March 28, 2005.
Mrs. Burnett is survived by three grandsons, Timothy A. and wife Terri Ball of Lewisville, TX, Jonathan M. Ball of Crestline, CA, and Stephen Robert and wife Sarah Ellen Ball of Elgin Air Force Base, FL and son in law, Richard Camarata amd six great grandchildren Hunter Ball, Kaylee Ball, Tyeson Ball, Cayden Ball, Sampson Ball, and Noah Ball. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Sarah Ann Amyx Sparkman,. Daughter, Lisa Camarata.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Towne North Baptist Church, with Rev. Ken Gray and Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Sanger Cemetery.
