Obituary
Fred Roland Myers, Beloved father of Chris Myers and Karla Dugas, died peacefully Monday, January 4, 2016 at his home in Corinth, Texas.
Mr. Myers was born on December 5, 1921 in Brandon, Mississippi to Samuel Ransom and Fannie (Cooper) Myers. He served the United States Navy during WWII and also served for many years in The Gideon's International organization.
Mr. Myers is survived by his daughter, Karla Dugas and her husband David of Corinth; son, Chris Myers and his wife Deatra of Coral Springs, FL; grandson, Clint Myers and his wife Maggie of Coral Springs, FL; great-grandson, Noah Myers of Coral Springs, FL; stepdaughters, Deanna LeBoeuf of Houma, LA, Sherry Poyner of Houma, LA.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX.
