Fred H. Carlisle, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the Medical Center of Lewisville. Fred was born September 21, 1923 in Temple, Texas to James Leonard Carlisle and Mable Hubbard. He joined the United States Army Air Corp at age 19 and served for almost four years with the Military Police during World War II. Fred worked for Lone Star Gas Company, now TXU, and retired as Chief Building Superintendent with 35 yrs. of employment. He volunteered with the Lake Cities Fire Department for 11 years and served as Fire Chief for two of those years. After moving to Lewisville in 1973, Fred started, owned and operated Carlisle's Engraving Company, Inc. for 18 years. Fred and Jennie were married for 65 years and were members of the Lewisville Bible Church for 43 years. Fred is survived by his wife, Jennie of Lewisville; daughter, Debra J. Carlisle of Austin; son, Rick Carlisle and his wife, Mary of Krum; brother, Rolf Carlisle and his wife, Cecilia of Irving and three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30a.m., Monday, May 28th, 2007 at the Lewisville Bible Church, 609 S. Charles St., Lewsiville, TX 75057. Visitation will be from 6:45-8:15p.m., Sunday evening at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home.
