Fred Arrington, 80 of Denton passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born June 9, 1929 in Denton to Tommy Virgil and Effie Lorene (Steuard) Arrington. He attended Denton
Public Schools and was the Owner Operator of the University Cleaners for forty five years. He was married to Wanda Brearley in Denton on June 12 1948. He was a charter member of Denton Baptist Temple.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Denton Baptist Temple, 610 N. I-35E Denton, with Dr. George Anderson, Rev. R. D. Wade, Junior Norris, and Rev. Hurbert Godby, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.
Mr. Arrington is survived by his wife, Wanda Arrington of Denton, daughters, Kathy Arrington of Denton, Judy Crawford and husband Richard of Sherman, Karyl Arrington of Dallas, a son, Christopher Arrington and wife Daphne of Denton, a sister, Evah Lee Cowan, of Denton and brother, Virgil Arrington of Denton, grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, and Elizabeth Crawford, and Chloe Arrington, and one great grandchild Timothy Crawford.
