Obituary

Frankie Day Frederick, 94, of Justin, died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.  She was born June 15, 1914 in Hugo, OK to Carl Franklin and Golden Day (Sample) McDonel. She was married to Douglas Houston Frederick, on October 14, 1933 in Paris, TX.  She was a member of the Methodist Church in Moore, OK, a Kindergarten Teacher in Maysville, OK and worked for Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August  18, 2008 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma, with Rev. Wes Kimball officiating.The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX 76201 on Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M.

Mrs. Frederick is survived by two daughters and sons in law,   Lillian and George Church of Sherman, TX and Janice and Bill Barnes of Haslet, TX; a brother, Clarence McDonel of Olive Branch, MS; three grandchildren, Terri and David Sandridge of Plano, TX  Bruce and Pam Church of Montgomery, TX, Kelli and Steve Marshall of Haslet, TX; great grandchildren, Lesley, Mycah, and Carly Sandridge, George Church, and Trevor and Rhett Marshall. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Jimmie Thompson, brothers, Curt McDonel and Clyde McDonel, and great granddaughter, Lauren Sandridge.
