Frank Miller, 87, of Denton, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, July 29, 2018 at his home in Denton.
Mr. Miller was born on June 14, 1931 in Millington, TN to James and Ethel (Woodward) Miller. He graduated from Memphis State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree he then graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX with a Master of Education and then attended Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, TX when he entered the ministry. Frank served in the United States Air Force in the Korean War. He married Elois Madison on December 18, 1953 in San Antonio. He was a minister of Education in every church that he served. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Denton, where he served for many years as a Deacon.
Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elois Miller of Denton; daughters, Cathy Summers of Decatur, Cheryl Brady of Valley View; sons, Wayne Miller of Justin, Bill Miller of Winter Park, CO; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 1100 Malone St., Denton. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Dr. Jeff Williams will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be: Cody Summers, Clint Summers, Robert (Beau) Brady, Bryan Brady, Brad Miller, Josh Knutson, John Kabongo.
