Frank Joseph James left his earthly home to be with his heavenly father on May 13, 2015. He adored nothing more than his grandchildren Makayla and Hailey James, Ian, Bobby and Gini Lu James, Gannon McDonald and Olive Page. He is also survived by his children Joseph James (Suzanne), Gene James (Julie), Casie James, Katelyn James, Hope James and a brother Michael James (Kristine) and nieces Cassandra, Stephanie, Heidi and nephew Matteo James.
Frank was born on August 15, 1958 in Houston, Texas and preceded in death by his parents Marguerite Viola Baker James and Alfred Frank James.
Frank was an avid learner and never stopped the pursuit of knowledge. He was always equipped with an arsenal of jokes, a sharp wit, a caramel macchiato (with extra caramel), and an extraordinary memory. Frank was both a musician and an artist – and loved Pastor Tommy Nelson's sermons.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Art Station of Ft. Worth, Texas (www.theartstation.org). The Art Station mission is to provide a safe and encouraging environment where art making can be used to promote personal growth, uplift our hearts and help heal our minds and bodies.
