Francis Church, age 82 of Highland Village, TX, passed away March 5, 2010. He was born September 4, 1927 in France to Clifford and Marie Church. He married Donatienne Herbette on April 23, 1956 in Camp Voluceau, France. He retired from the US Army after 22 years of exemplary service as an Officer and went on to an additional twenty years as an executive with Civil Service in the US and
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Donatienne and seven children. Three sons reside in the DFW area, Louis and his wife Betsy, Edward and his wife Denise, and Thomas and his wife Tami; two sons and a daughter in Las Vegas, Berenice, Christopher, John and his wife Rachel, and one daughter in Denver, Carolyn. He has sixteen grandchildren. Nine reside in the DFW area. Jason Church, Tessa Wright, Bennett Church, Ashtyn Church, Kenedy Church, Stephanie Houser, Julie Church, Dominique Church, and Bridgette Church. Seven grandchildren reside out-of-state; Nathan and Courtney Ricci, Jimmy and Christine Orlando, Jacob and Amber Church and Megan Church; and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Rosa Church, residing in Paris, France.
Funeral mass will be 9:00 a.m., Thursday, March 11, 2010 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Coppell, TX. A reception will follow at the church. Burial will be 12:30 p.m., at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Anne's Catholic Church in Coppell, Texas.
