Obituary
Frances Louise Stewart, 82, of Denton, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Frances was born on July 31, 1932 in Denton to Roy Francis and Dessie (McLean) Stewart. She graduated from Denton High School; she then graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Homemaking and a Master Degree in Education. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Texas State Teachers Association, National Education Association and the First Baptist Church in Denton. She retired after thirty-six years of teaching, twenty years of which were at Calhoun Middle School.
She is survived by several cousins. Frances will be remembered for crocheting and giving away hundreds of baby blankets.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 3, 2014 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Dr. Jeff Williams will officate the service.
