Frances Elizabeth Silver, 93, of Green Valley, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Frances was born on August 7, 1921 on "the Texas side" of Texhoma, TX to "Bum" and Mary (Poer) Douglas. She contracted polio at the age of two years old and lived with the effects of it all her life. She graduated from Panhandle A&M College in Goodwell, OK with a Bachelor degree in music. She was married to William Albert Silver in 1955 in Tulsa, OK. She was a member of Denton Bible Church.
She dearly loved her Lord Jesus and lived her life anxious to tell others of Him! She has a legacy full of people who know Jesus because of the way she told others of Him and because of the way she lived her life.
She is survived by her husband, William Silver of Aubrey; daughter, Martha Harris and her husband Matt of Aubrey; son, Mike Silver and his wife Debbie of Watauga; grandchildren, Tyler, Brent, Robyn, Craig, Abigail, Samuel, Olivia, and Levi.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 12, 2015 in the chapel at Denton Bible Church, E. University Dr., Denton. Rev. Tom Nelson will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Green Valley Cemetery.
