Obituary

Frances Marie Lamonica, 80, of Krum, our Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, who was known by everyone as Granny went to be with her Lord on September 9, 2007 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was loved by ALL. Her Popcorn, Sweet tea and Pea Salad was her trademark She was active in her children's lives and always placed them first. She was married to George Lamonica on April 5, 1947 in Denton, he died in 1975.

A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Krum, with Rev. Carl Lane, officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery at Krum. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation from 7 P.M. till 8:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 11, 2007. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, Denton Unit, 3301 West Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76107-5709.

Mrs. Lamonica is survived by her daughter Pat R. (Toodles) and husband George Thompson, of Krum, sons Larry Lamonica, of Krum, David and wife Debbie Lamonica, of Sanger, and Gary Lamonica of Denton, a sister Reba Rasbary, of Halton City, Nine Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren, and Two Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, sisters Julia Rink and Mae Rozell.
