Obituary

Frances McCormick Faught, 88, originally of Denton, passed away November 1, 2013 at Baylor Hospital, Plano Texas. Mrs. Faught was born on July 1, 1925 at home in Pike, TX to Ores P. and Rubye (Cunnyngham) McCormick. She was married to D. L. Faught on September 1, 1946 at the Little Chapel-in-the-Woods in Denton. Mrs. Faught was retired from a career that began as a bookkeeper. She also worked many years as a medical secretary and office manager for two Denton physicians. She was a member of Eastern Star and also a member of the Lions Club Auxillary for which she served as president 1983-1984.
A funeral service will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Mr. Cliff Feeler will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Prairie Mound Cemetery, Argyle, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Faught is survived by daughters Diane Faught Harlow and her husband James Harlow of Garland; Janet Faught Von Roeder of Ft. Worth; sister Nelda McNitzky of Kalispell, MT; grandchildren, Jessica Von Roeder, Michael Von Roeder, Kim Faught, Alexa Harlow Griffith; great-grandchildren, Makayla Achuff, Jessica Griffith, Ian Griffith, Jack Griffith, Micah Griffith, Sasha Griffith; four nieces, seven great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D. L. Faught; daughter, Karen Faught; and her parents. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. On line condolences may be left at www.mulkeymasondenton.com
