Evie Mae Blagg, 87, of Denton died Friday April 20, 2007 at The Vintage in Denton.
Mrs. Blagg was born January 21, 1920 in Lewisville, TX to John M. and Nannie Aline Brown. She went to school in the Lloyd Community. She was married to Eugene Blagg on November 18, 1938 in Denton. She was a member of the Denton Rebecca Lodge #18 and the Towne North Baptist Church. She retired from the Denton Independent School District as a cafeteria worker, she worked for many years at Strickland Junior High.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday April 24, 2007 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday April 23 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Gerald Upchurch, Charles Upchurch, James Ragland, Jeff Gann, Victor Gann, Capt. Richard Blagg, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Jo Gann of Aubrey; sons, Richard Eugene Blagg of Krugerville, Danny Mack Blagg of Denton; sisters, Lois Upchurch of Mabank, Mary Smith of Richardson; brother, Elton Brown of Sherman; sisters-in-law, Clara Norris of Denton, Alice Pockrus of Denton; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
