Evert Pilgrim Bolin, age 83, of Lewisville, passed away Monday, June 1, 2009, in Lewisville.

He was born January 11, 1926 in Allen, Texas to Emett Samuel Bolin and Ollie Mae Anderson Bolin. Evert married Grace Stockard on January 1, 1946 in Denton. He worked as a rural mail carrier and was a farmer.

Evert is survived by his wife, Grace; daughter, Jackie Alcoze and husband, John; son, Tom Bolin and wife, Christa; three grandchildren, Anita Stapleton, Janna Alcoze and Elizabeth Alcoze and three great grandchildren, John Michael Stapleton, Joshua Stapleton and Jackson Stapleton. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Emett Bolin on March 16, 2003.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at First United Methodist Church in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family requests memorial contributions made to the First United Methodist Church, 907 W.
