Evelyn E. True, age 87, of Mesquite, TX passed away, Wednesday, June 11, 2008. She was born July 22, 1920 in Pittsburgh, TX to Dawson E. and Irene Hart Blount, Sr.  She married J.D. True on November 20, 1939 in Mt. Pleasant, TX. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters; Sylvia Vandergriff of Mesquite, Betty McCrary and husband Mac of Lewisville, TX and Linda Weesner and husband Ernest of Plano, TX; son, Johnny True and wife Nancy of Kilgore, TX; brother, Dawson E. Blount, Jr. of Winnsboro, TX; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 P.M., Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville,TX.
