Eva Jewell Rich, 97, of Denton, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Wheeler Place in Gainesville, TX.

Mrs. Rich was born on May 19, 1919 in Myra, TX to George Washington and Sally Jane (Cogburn) Luster. She worked for many years as a sales clerk for Bealls Department Store. She was married to Clarence F. Rich on February 22, 1941 in Marietta, OK, he died on February 19, 1986. She was a member of Gateway United Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rich is survived by her brother, Alton Luster of Era; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 7, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Park.
