Eunice Lenora Hilliard of Denton, Texas was born May 24, 1942, to Marshall Ney and Eunice Louise Oliver in Tyler, Texas. She was the third of four beautiful sisters. They lived in Texas before traveling to Guam and Japan, returning to Texas in 1950. She graduated from Denton High School and Rutherford Metropolitan School of Business in Fort Worth. She attended North Texas State University. She was a long-time member of Cooper Creek United Methodist Church and married Bobby Hilliard there on January 28, 1967. Eunice loved children and was a teacher aide at Denton ISD for many years. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 21, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Eunice Oliver, husband Bobby Hilliard, sisters Anna Dill and Marsha Ruyle, and her beloved dogs Jake and Star. She is survived by one sister Barbara (Mikel) Giles of Sanger; daughter Julie (Mark) Philpott; grandchildren Jacob, Lucas (Adrianne), Owen, and Abigail Philpott; great grandchildren Adele, Pepper, and Paxton Philpott. She also had numerous nieces and nephews who affectionately knew her as "Aunt Euni".

Visitation will be held at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home Friday, March 7, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral service will be at Cooper Creek United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 10:00amfollowed by a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving a gift to the church, which she loved.
