Born on July 20, 1926 in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Grover Cleveland Schwartz, a medical doctor, and Ethel Schwartz, a nurse.  She obtained her RN from Hannaman Medical College in Philadelphia.  On February 14, 1948 she married James Nevin Sener in Lancaster, PA.  In 1957 they moved to the former Panama Canal Zone.  In 1979 they retired to Dothan, AL.

She loved music all her life and was an accomplished classical pianist.  In later life she studied the organ, specializing in the works of J.S. Bach, and even delighted the members of her family and her church community with a recital of Bach's Requiem .

She moved to Lewisville, TX in 2006.

She is survived by her four children, Marjorie Sener of Los Angeles, CA, Beverly Driscoll of Flower Mound, TX, Virginia Webb of Wilson, NC, and Kenneth Sener of Bath, ME, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three brothers and one sister.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, TX.
