Obituary

Ethel Mae Cofer, 93, of Krum, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Denton Good Samaritan Village. She was born on August 28, 1917 in the Plainview Community to Homer Edward and Eva (Walker) Inmon. She was married to Jack Hayes Cofer, Sr. on August 17, 1935 at Plainview. She was a homemaker and a member of the Krum Church of Christ. Her interest were her family and her flower garden. She stayed very active with her family, church and community.

A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, April 17, 2011 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Chester Cullum officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery at Krum. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Memorials may be made to the Krum Church of Christ.

Mrs. Cofer is survived by daughters, Wanda and husband Donald Coffey of Pittsburg, TX, Bessie and husband Bennie Enis of Krum, Carol and husband Tommy Chapman of Krum; sons, Jack H. and wife Peggy Cofer of Abilene, Christopher and wife Jayne Cofer of Krum; sister, Betty Carson of Valley View; twenty-one grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren, and nine great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Jack Cofer; parents, Homer and Eva Walker Inmon; brothers, Ray and E. G. "Snook" Inmon; sisters, Mary Inmon Smith and Winnie Inmon White.
