Ethel Mae Carter, 80 of Sanger, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at her home. She was born September 3, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lyman and Mary Opal (Staples) Chambers. She was a graduate of Milby High School in Houston, Tx She was married to Harry Bertram Carter on June 15, 1952 in Houston, TX and he passed away August 31, 2008. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Sanger, and was retired Bookkeeper from the First Baptist Church of Denton.
Mrs. Carter is survived by three sons, Cliff Alan Carter of Denton, Craig Harry Carter and wife Dian of Sanger, and Eric Holt Carter of Denton, Four Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.
