Ethel Martin Bell, 82, of Denton, died Monday, February 27, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born October 9, 1923 in Whitesboro, TX to O. B. and Ethel M. (Lacy) Martin. She was married to the Late John R. Bell on December 28, 1940 in Marietta, Oklahoma, he died January 12, 2002. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and was retired in 1986 from General Telephone and Electronics, where she was a Business Representative for three years.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2006 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Cliff Feeler, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Collinsville, Texas. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday.

Mrs. Bell is survived by a daughter, Barbara Naughton, of Manhattan, Kansas and a son, John L. Bell, of Denton, a sister Alyne Gibson, of Whitesboro, and a brother, Travis Martin, of Winton, California. Also survived by two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelli Gray.
