Esther Rivera Rosales was born on December 12, 1924 in Chicago, Ill. She was one of seven children born to Eulogio Rivera of Jalisco, Mexico & Antonia Hernandez Rivera of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Esther attended the Chicago public school system before graduating from Skinner High School in 1941. Afterwards, she went on to marry Raul (Ralph) Rosales on January 28, 1950 with whom she had two children with, Ronald and Margo. Esther had a close bond with her only sister, Rachel. Together they found their spiritual calling, preaching and teaching the good news as being one of Jehovah's Witnesses.  In 1989, she moved to Texas to assist with the upbringing of her grandchildren. Esther always stayed true to her faith and never let anyone, or anything make her strength or love waver for Jehovah. Her self-less devotion became an amazing example for everyone, even being the reason, some chose to walk the straight and narrow path to everlasting life serving Jehovah. Esther had a rich, full family and spiritual life.

Esther passed away on September 18, 2019 in Plano, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Rosales; brothers: Paul, Sarafin, Rocco, Charles, & Robert; sister, Rachel. She is survived by her son, Ronald Rosales; daughter, Margo Valderas-Anderson; 3 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Argyle.
