Obituary

Essie Pearl Perkins, 89, of Justin, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1918 in Clarendon, TX to Van Dale and Pearl May (Perdue) Roy. She was married Frances Taylor (F. T.) Perkins on October 26, 1942 in Clarendon, TX. She is a member of the Sage Meadow Christian Fellowship, and worked in Child Care.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Firday, May 25, 2007 at the Sage Meadow Christian Fellowship Church, with Rev. Joe Bushwell, Wendall Splawn, Sr. and Wendell Lillard,officiating. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 24, 2007. Burial will follow in the Justin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons.

Mrs. Perkins is survived by three daughters, Nadine Baker, Justin, Faye Snyder, Arlington, Washington, and Lanell Burchett, of Gainesville, two sons, Calvin Perkins of Rhome, and Marvin Perkins, of Sanger, a sister, Ila Wood, of Sherman, Ten Grandchildren and twenty Great Grandchildren, and two Great Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Roy during WWII.
