Ernestine Sue Q. Garrett, 84 of Denton, passed away on March 18, 2011 at her home. She was born July 7, 1926 in Sweetwater, TX to Paul T. and Elvira C. (Ellis) Quast. She was a retired Secretary and a member of the Methodist Church. She was a member of the Robison Ranch Women's Club. Her passions included cooking, reading, music and traveling. She was married to Jerry Garrett on July 6, 1946 in Sweetwater, Texas. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the Texas State Teacher's College ( now UNT).

Mrs. Garrett is survived by her husband, Jerry Garrett of Denton, TX; daughters, Amy Kislingbury of Flower Mound, TX and Betsy Garrett of London, England; son Brent Garrett of Louisville, KY and nine grandchildren, Kyle, Lauren, Katherine, Benjamin, Daniel, Timothy, Justin, Aspen and Sierra. She was preceded in death by a son, Austin Garrett.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m at Robison Ranch Clubhouse on Sunday, March 27, 2011. The family will have a visitation on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Mulkey- Mason Funeral Home, 705 N.
