Ernest William Manry, Jr, (77) of Denton, died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at his home. He was born February 24, 1928 in Denton to Ernest William, Sr. and Ladell (Williams) Manry. On July 2, 1949 he married Robbie Fagg in Houston, where they resided for 45 years. Ernest graduated from North Texas Demonstration High School. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II as an Electrician's Mate 3rd Class and was Honorably Discharged December 31, 1947. He was a retired Union Electrician.

A graveside service was held Monday, April 4, 2005 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Steven Carrizal officiated.

Survivors include his wife of Denton, one daughter, Gail Ballard and husband Dennis, of Bullhead City, Arizona, one son Brian Manry and wife Ele , of Pasadena, TX . Three Sisters , Dorles McCormack and husband Jim of Denton. Bobbie Schrock of Denton. Marcia Erwin and husband Sidney of Alba, Texas. One granddaughter, Catherine Overcash and husband Charles of Friendswood , Texas . Three Grandsons , Travis McCarter of West Haven , Connecticut, Brian Manry Jr. and Blaine Manry of Pasadena , Texas. One Great granddaughter, Jessica Overcash of Friendswood, Texas. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
