Obituary
Emory Gregg Mays died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Irving Baylor Hospital. He will be missed by family and many friends.
Gregg was born Aug. 6, 1951, in San Saba, and grew up in Denton. He was a graduate of the University of North Texas and a career administrator for the City of Irving.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher Mays and Parker Mays, both of Denton, and 2nd Lieutenant of the U.S. Marine Corps, Trent Mays; fiancée, Jane Card; and daughters, his mother, Rachel Mays; two daughter-in-laws; four grandchildren; his sisters, Sharon Dupree of Houston, Peggy Harlam of Del Rio, and Penny Dawson of Valley View; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 201 S. Locust, Denton at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2007. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home.
