Elmer Lee Pugh, 90, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2015. Elmer was born in Little Elm, TX on November 29, 1924, the son of Grover Cleveland Pugh and Ruth Doyle Pugh. Elmer finished high school and then attended North Texas and Texas A&M Universities before serving in the U.S. Navy as a radio operator during World War II. After his service to our country Elmer married Billie Ann Rickrich in Decatur on September 7, 1949. They were married for 66 wonderful years. Elmer is survived by his wife Billie of Aledo; daughter Debbie Odom and husband Mark of Grand Prairie; grandson Ben Odom and wife Kristyn of Dallas; sister Coleta Stacks of Granbury; brother James Pugh and wife Joann of Decatur; sister-in-law Betty Pugh of Denton; and many nieces nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday October 1, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the Plainview Cemetery near Krum, TX.
