Ella Mae "Phoebe" Bean, 85, of Denton, died Monday, July 30, 2018 at The Village on Valley Creek in Denton.
Mrs. Bean was born on May 19, 1933 in Farmersville to Claude M. and Etta (Smith) Wallace. She was married to Paul Richard Bean on July 15, 1955 in Farmersville. She retired from Moore Business Forms and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Denton.
She is survived by daughter, Kay Overstreet of Denton; sons, Keith Bean of Denton, Paul Bean, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Ann Rose of Mesquite, Mary Williams of Garland, Suzy Martinez of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Trey, Bear, Abby, Amy; eight great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 3, 2018 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Farmersville, TX.
