Elizabeth Sale passed away at Autumn Oaks in Corinth, Texas on July 4, 2014. She was born on July 30, 1917 to Fred and Ruby Crisp in Emerson, Arkansas. She married C.A. "Dick" Sale on June 11, 1934.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Ila Verne Franks. Elizabeth was a resident of Tyler, Texas for over 50 years before moving to Corinth in 2005 to be close to her family.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Fred and wife, Sandy (Panama City, Florida) and Richard and wife, Kathi (Denton, Texas); grandchildren, David (Tallahassee, Florida), Marcus and wife, Tari (Panama City, Florida), Chris and wife, Aimee (Denton), Angela Grubke and husband, Ted (Denton) and Jeremy and wife, Sarah (Denton); and five great-grandchildren, Lauren, Natalie, Ethan, Jaden and Austin, all of Denton. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive her.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler, Texas. Visitation will precede the service at 1:00 pm. The service will be at 2:00 pm. Arrangements will be handled by Mulkey-Mason Funeral home of Denton, Texas.
The family wishes to thank Autumn Oaks of Corinth, her home for the past seven years, for their loving care and support. Also, the family is grateful to Odyssey Hospice for their kind care for the past few months.
