Elizabeth Ann "Liz" DeBerry, 81, of Denton, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Ms. DeBerry was born on April 13, 1934 in England, AR to William and Ara Belle (Mills) Love. She was married to Albert DeBerry, Sr. on April 16, 1955 in Hancock County, Mississippi. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Denton. She worked for many years at Bank of America in the Denton branches.
She is survived by her son, Albert J. DeBerry, Jr. of Austin, daughter Rachael Lewis of Carrollton; granddaughter, Tatum DeBerry of Austin. Two brothers, Bob Love and wife Judy of Livingston and Bill Love and wife Sunny of Longview.
Liz was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend. She was the sunshine in our lives and all whose lives she touched. She loved deeply and will be forever cherished and loved.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Cindy Nichols Chapel at the First Baptist Church, 1100 Malone St., Denton, TX.
