Elizabeth Ann Gardner "Liz", 36, passed away at her home on August 9, 2015 in Denton. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. at Denton Funeral Home on Thursday, August 13, 2015. A funeral service will be held in the Denton Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015. Services will be officiated by Dr. Jeff Williams. Liz was born to William Woodford and Teresa Penick in Lexington, Kentucky on February 20, 1979. She was a dedicated mother to her beloved children. Liz brightened every room she walked into and was a free spirit. Liz is dearly loved and missed. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas E. Sparks, William Woodford, and Kent Woodford. She is survived by her children, Trinity (13), Brooklyn (10), and Landon (8); their father, Andrew Gardner; her father, William Woodford and wife Carolyn; her mother, Teresa Penick and stepfather Derrick; brothers, Michael Woodford and wife Chloe, and Todd Wiegele and wife Kelly; sister, Jennifer Edwards and husband Averon; grandmother, Ann Simpson and husband Cliff; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the "Gardner Children Donation Account" at any Wells Fargo Bank location.
