Elizabeth (Betsy) Anderson was born on December 26, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She passed away on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007, at her home in Ponder, Texas. Betsy is survived by her husband, Daryl Anderson, and her children and their spouses: Craig and Pamalla Anderson, C. Lane and Brandi Anderson, Amy Lew and Philip Wilson, and grandchildren: Shelby, Tyler, Morgan, and Chance, and siblings: John Roth and Karen Smith.

Betsy attended North Texas State University where she met and married her husband of forty years, Daryl Anderson. Together they created their farm and ranch in Ponder that will endure as a testament to her love of family and home.

Betsy was a tireless supporter of many local church and community organizations over the past four decades-always available to lend a helping hand. Her creativity and spirit exuded from every from every project she undertook, but she will always be remembered as an accomplished gardner who saw beauty in every aspect of nature.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11th at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2255 N. Bonnie Brae, Denton, with Msgr. Charles King, officiating. The family will have a visitation service on Tuesday, April 10th at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M..
