Elias Argumaniz Sr. slipped away from his loving family on January 3, 2017. He was born April 15, 1934 to Juan and Trinidad Argumaniz in Baird TX.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 - 1958, followed by 30 years Civil Service/ National Guard Army, Master Sergeant.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and at one time liked fast cars, was a collector of many things. In the last 20 years he spent his time working at his country place in Aubrey TX. He was an excellent mechanic and could fix just about anything. We are a very large close family and he will be missed at all of our family gatherings.
He was preceded in death, his parents; brother John Argumaniz; granddaughter Angela Argumaniz.
Survived by wife of 63 years the wonderful Amelia Guajardo Argumaniz; son, Elias Argumaniz Jr. and wife Beverly; son, John David Argumaniz; son, Pedro Reynaldo Argumaniz and wife Renee; daughter, Debra Argumaniz.
11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. He loved his sisters; Dorothy Martinez, Hope Guajardo, Mollie Ernst and brother Henry Argumaniz.
A celebration of life with visitation and rosary will be Monday January 9, 2017 6-8 pm, at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home 705 N. Locust Denton TX. His final resting place will be at the Dallas/ Ft. Worth National Cemetery on Tuesday January 10, 2017 at 2:15 pm.
