Elena Pearl Low received her greatest wish to be with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and all her loved ones in Heaven on January 23, 2024. She was 99 years, 5 months and 6 days old, at her passing. She was born the oldest daughter of Thomas A. and Mollie Killingsworth on August 17, 1924. Preceded in death by her sisters Dortha Houston and Alvena Hutson.
She is survived by her son Loyd and wife Juanita Wilson and daughter Donna Naylor; grandchildren: Barry Wilson, Brian Glenn, Brooke and husband Matt McNulty, Mark McMullin, Todd and wife Jess McMullin, Chelsea Naylor; great-grandchildren: Payton McMullin, Cory Glenn, Katy McMullin, Conner Wilson, Olivia Wilson, Tyler McNulty, Lily McNulty, Leila Songur, Ayden Songur, Mia McMullin, Lorelai McMullin, Taylor McMullin.
She graduated from Denton High School and attended Texas Woman's University.
She was employed at Fernwood Baptist Church and several other Baptist churches, as church secretary. She was also employed with Associates Capital Group. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Churches all her life. She was a soloist and choir member, a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, who faithfully kept up with her family and prayed for each one, even while she was very sick. We will all remember her for her care, prayers, and generosity to her large family and many friends. A wonderful life lived for the Lord and a testament to His grace and mercy.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, January 29, 2024 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery, Denton.
