Effie Inez Baker Kelly (89) of Denton died (February 8, 2018) at 3:35a.m.  She was born April 10, 1928 in Breckenridge, TX to Arthur B. Baker Sr. and Inez Coberly Baker.  She was a graduate of Denton High School and a member of First Baptist Church Denton.
On May 28, 1946 she married Archie Roeland Kelly Jr. He preceded her in death February 27, 1987 after 41 years of marriage.
Mrs. Kelly is survived by a daughter Virginia and husband Dick Craven, daughter in law Melody Specht Kelly, three grandchildren: Jake and wife Kathleen Craven of Denton, Holly and husband Michael Dennis of Austin and Patrick Kelly of Denton. She is also survived by five great grandchildren: Jacob, Brooks and Allyson Craven of Denton, Kennedy and Tucker Dennis of Austin, a sister in law Margaret Baker Lewis of Irving, nieces and nephews: Art and wife Anita Baker and family, Patricia and husband Danny Baird and family, Laura and husband Jay Boxell and family, David and wife Krystal Jackson and family and a life time dear friend Mary Harbert of North Richland Hills.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Randy (Roeland Elvin) Kelly, her brothers: Arthur B. Baker Jr. and Elvin and wife Velma Baker, her niece Jody (Mary Jo) Baker and two baby nephews.
Visitation will be at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home in Denton, Texas on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 3:30-5pm.  Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 9:30am with memorial service following at Denton Bible Church Chapel at 11am.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Denton or Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village Assisted Living.
