Edwin Dow Davidson Sr. age 80 of Haltom City, Texas passed away Friday March 16, 2007 at his son Kirk residence. He was born October 24, 1926 in Navo, Denton, Co. to J. E. and Myrtie (Brockett) Davidson. He served in the Air Force during WWII. He was a graduate of Texas A & M. He was an Architect in Dallas for 12 years and Hawaii for 30 years before retiring.
Dow married Rose Joy Painter April 12, 1973 in Hawaii. She passed away in 2005.
He survived by his son's Edwin Dow Jr. and his wife Mary of Austin and Kirk and wife Shelly of Haltom City. Daughter Sharlene Painter and husband Mark Ling of Hawaii. Brother Bobby Davidson and wife Lois of Tyler. Grandchildren Brockett, Graham, and Angele Davidson. Stephanie, Isaac, Joseph Davidson and Peter Moon. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Glen and Joseph Davidson.
Graveside will be 1:00 pm March 20, 2007 at Oakwood Cemetery in Denton. The Rev. Bill Earley will officiate the service. Visitation will be Tuesday March 20, 2007 11:00 to 12:30 before the service at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home 705 N. Locust St. Denton, Texas 76201.
